But then you go on Tumblr, and you see something different. You see girls buying clothes, cutting their hair, taking laxatives, starving themselves, doing anything to make themselves look thinner. They base their self-worth on a NUMBER projected on a man-made scale. And to be honest with you, it breaks my heart. Because I know that you CAN eat without feeling guilty, you CAN eat fattening food without punishing yourself afterwards. What the scale says is NOT the most important thing. Being thin isNOT more important than being healthy. Being thin and not eating are NOT signs of true will power and success. Screw what all these pro-ana blogs tell you. You don’t have to be thin to be attractive. You are perfectly okay just the way you are.

Skinny girls in general. I’ve been a size 0 all my life and I eat normally. It makes me mad when people automatically associate a thin build to eating disorders - it’s not always like that. I consider myself pretty healthy - I like being active, I eat good, whole foods as much as possible, and in my opinion, that’s the way everyone should go about treating their bodies. However, a lot of it is genetics as well. I have friends that are naturally thin, and some of them eat super crappy foods and still stay thin. That happens too, and also proof that genetically, people can be predisposed to be inevitably skinny.
I have no idea why a somewhat common human shape isn’t considered “real” to some. I have NOTHING against curvy girls. I love a girl with boobs, hips and ass. In fact, I’d give anything to be more filled out. Everyone is beautiful, everyone has their own magic and beauty that sets them apart. A woman’s body is a work of art regardless of its dimensions.
